A data source is a table of structured information, such as a supplier list, customer
catalog, or product parts database, that admins import into Agentforce Operations. Use data
sources to reference and validate data in workflows and tasks.
Required Editions
License Required
This feature is a workspace that’s external to your Salesforce org and requires
an Agentforce Operations license.
To purchase an Agentforce Operations license, contact your Salesforce account
executive.
After a data source is added, it appears as a field you can add to a blueprint. When an
associated workflow runs, users see the data source as a table and can then select rows to share
information or validate submitted data.
Add data sources by using a CSV file or a REST API connection.
When configuring the data source, don't forget to grant access to AI agents so they can use
that data source.
