          About Stages in Agentforce Operations

Stages organize the tasks in a blueprint into logical phases. Use stages to break a process into manageable milestones and control when each part of the workflow runs.

          License Required

This feature is a workspace that’s external to your Salesforce org and requires an Agentforce Operations license.

To purchase an Agentforce Operations license, contact your Salesforce account executive.

Each stage groups related tasks together. For example, a supplier onboarding blueprint can have stages for Document Collection, Review, and Approval. By default, Agentforce Operations uses a linear execution model: Stage 1 must complete before Stage 2 can begin. Within a stage, tasks often run simultaneously, but the next stage doesn't start until all required tasks in the current stage finish.

You can also define conditional branching that controls whether a stage runs based on field values from earlier tasks. Use conditional branching to route the workflow down different paths for different inputs.
