            About Task Configuration in Agentforce Operations

            Tasks are the individual units of work in a blueprint. Configure tasks to collect the right information, route work to the right people, and shape how each step behaves at run time.

            Required Editions

            License Required

            This feature is a workspace that’s external to your Salesforce org and requires an Agentforce Operations license.

            To purchase an Agentforce Operations license, contact your Salesforce account executive.

            When you build a blueprint, you create tasks that drive the work forward. Each task can request information from assignees, share context from upstream tasks, attach documents, set due dates, and route to specific people, teams, or AI agents.

            You can also configure advanced task behaviors:

            Split tasks
            Spawn multiple run-time instances of a single task based on a multi-value field.
            Save submitted data as a PDF
            Archive a record of the information submitted for the task.
            Expire the task
            Strictly enforce due dates by preventing late submissions.
