With linked blueprints, you can nest one blueprint inside another as a subprocess. At run time, the parent workflow running from the blueprint contains a task that triggers a child workflow when it starts. The parent workflow tracks the child's progress and can receive output fields back from it when the child completes. Use linked blueprints when complex processes span teams or blueprints that you manage independently.
Both parent and child workflows appear on the Home page as independent workflows. Workflows belonging to the same linked set share the same Top Workflow ID. Use the Top Workflow ID column to identify workflows that belong to the same linked set.
