Track a Linked Child Workflow in Agentforce Operations
When a linked child workflow task starts, Agentforce Operations creates the child workflow. Track child workflows from the Home page or through the parent workflow.

Track a Child Workflow from the Home Page
View child workflows from the Home page along with all other workflows in your workspace.
Both parent and child workflows appear in your Home page workflow list. The parent workflow appears when you start it. The child workflow appears after the linked child workflow task in the parent starts and Agentforce Operations creates the child workflow.
Parent and child workflows share the same Top Workflow ID. For example, if the parent workflow ID is 6181, all child workflows linked to that parent also have a Top Workflow ID of 6181. Sort by Top Workflow ID to group all linked workflows with the same ID.
- In the navigation sidebar, click Home.
- To group and sort linked parent and child workflows together, add the Top Workflow ID column to your Home page view.
- Locate the child workflow in the workflows list.
- To view the child workflow details, click the workflow's name and then click Open workflow.
Track a Child Workflow from the Parent Workflow
Open a child workflow directly from its task in the parent workflow to view details and track progress.
The task in the parent shows the child workflow's completion percentage as it progresses. To see basic information about the child workflow: when it started, fields passed, and when it completed, go to the parent workflow's Work Log tab. If the child workflow has a problem, a problem icon appears on the task, but the task shows only "Problem" without details. To see the problem details, open the child workflow.
- In the navigation sidebar, click Home.
- Open the parent workflow.
- View the child's completion percentage.
- To view basic information about the child workflow in the context of the parent workflow, click the Work Log tab in the parent workflow.
- To view task details or problem details for the child workflow, on the parent workflow's task, click Open workflow.
- To navigate back to the parent workflow, click the parent workflow link in the child workflow's header.
