When a blueprint creator enables workflow locking, workflows created from that blueprint restrict certain editing actions to enforce process integrity.
These restrictions apply to workflow owners and editors. Admins are exempt from all restrictions.
Allowed and Restricted Actions

| Add new tasks or stages | Yes | Owners can add tasks and stages as needed during workflow execution. |
| Reassign tasks | Yes | Task assignees can delegate or reassign their tasks to others. |
| Add additional assignees or CC people to tasks | Yes | Owners can add more people to tasks without removing original assignees. |
| Complete standard tasks | Yes | Owners can complete standard tasks on behalf of assignees. |
| Modify blueprint-defined stages | No | Stages defined in the blueprint can't be edited or removed. |
| Modify blueprint-defined tasks | No | Tasks defined in the blueprint can't be edited or removed. |
| Modify blueprint-defined fields | No | Fields defined in the blueprint can't be edited or removed. |
| Modify blueprint-defined start conditions | No | Start conditions defined in the blueprint can't be changed. |
| Change task names | No | Task names defined in the blueprint are locked. |
