Manage Blueprint Versions in Agentforce Operations
Create new versions of blueprints, review change history, and restore a previous version in Agentforce Operations.

Every time you publish a blueprint, Agentforce Operations creates a new version and records the changes in the change log. Each blueprint has a unique identifier (UUID) that stays consistent across all versions, making it easy to track the blueprint over time. You can create new versions, add version notes, and restore a previous version when needed.
When you create a new version, the draft is visible only to you and anyone you've granted access to in the Access tab. The published blueprint remains available to others while you work on the draft.
Create a New Version of a Blueprint to Edit It
To edit a published blueprint, create a new version, and then make your changes. Agentforce Operations records the new version in the blueprint's change log.
- In the navigation sidebar, click Blueprints.
- On the blueprint you want to edit, click the three dot dropdown list.

Click New version.
The new version of the blueprint opens as a draft blueprint. Only one draft can exist at a time. If a draft is in progress, and you try to create a new version, Agentforce Operations directs you to the existing draft version instead of creating a new one.
- Make your changes to the draft.
- Click the three dot dropdown list and click Publish blueprint.

Enter version notes that describe what changed and click Publish.
Publishing requires version notes. They appear in the blueprint's change log and About tab.If the blueprint includes AI agent tasks, each task must have a saved plan before you can publish. See Get AI Agent Tasks Ready for Run Time in Agentforce Operations.
Agentforce Operations publishes the blueprint, increments the version number by one, and records the version notes. The version number appears in the About tab.
Review a Blueprint’s Version Change Log
The change log tracks every published version of a blueprint, including who created and published each version, when, and any notes about what changed. Anyone who can view the published blueprint can view its change log from the About tab. Agentforce Operations orders the change log from newest to oldest version.
- In the navigation sidebar, click Blueprints.
- On the published blueprint, click Open.
- Click the About tab.
- Click View change log.
Restore a Previous Version of a Blueprint
Restore a blueprint to any previous version from the change log. You can't restore a previous version while a draft version is in progress.
- In the navigation sidebar, click Blueprints.
- On the published blueprint, click Open.
- Click the About tab.
- Click View change log.

Click the version number that you want to restore. For example, click
2.
The version opens.
- Click the three dot dropdown list and click Restore this version.
- Make any changes.
- Click the three dot dropdown list and click Publish blueprint.
