Add and Update Multiple Users in Bulk in Agentforce Operations

Add and Update Multiple Users in Bulk in Agentforce Operations

Upload a CSV file to invite users to the workspace, add roles to existing users, or update their names. A CSV file can include up to 10,000 rows, including the header row. You can add roles to users. You can't remove or create roles by uploading a CSV file.

          Required Editions

          License Required

This feature is a workspace that’s external to your Salesforce org and requires an Agentforce Operations license.

To purchase an Agentforce Operations license, contact your Salesforce account executive.

          Role or Access Needed
To manage user data in Agentforce Operations: Admin role or People Admin role

Agentforce Operations uses each person's email address to identify them in the CSV. New users have a Create action in the Review step, and existing workspace members have an Update action.

The Review step also flags rows with issues as a problem or a warning. Address all problems before you submit the upload. Agentforce Operations skips the data that it can't process in rows with a warning.

Include Email, Name, and Type columns in your CSV file. Enter Internal or External as the Type value for every row, including rows for existing workspace members. To assign roles to new users or add roles to workspace members, add a Roles column. Separate multiple roles with a semicolon (;).

          1. In the navigation sidebar, click Admin.
          2. On the People tab, click + Add or update.
          3. Click Invite multiple people, and then click Continue.
          4. (Optional) Download the CSV template with instructions.
          5. Click Continue.
          6. Click to add or drag your CSV file and then click Continue.
          7. Review the user list.

The table shows a Create action for new users and an Update action for existing workspace members. Agentforce Operations highlights rows with a problem in red and rows with a warning in orange.

          8. (Optional) To see all issues in one place, click Download validation report.
          9. (Optional) Address rows with problems.
            • To remove the row from the Review table, click Remove row icon.
            • Fix the problem in the CSV file, click Back, remove the file, and upload the corrected file.
          10. (Optional) Address rows with warnings.
            • To remove the row from the Review table, click Remove row icon.
            • Fix the issue in the CSV file, click Back, remove the file, and upload the corrected file.
            • Keep the row in the upload. When you submit the upload, Agentforce Operations skips the data it can’t process.
          11. Click Submit.
          12. Click Finish.
The upload processes in the background. New users receive a Welcome to Agentforce Operations email with a link to log in to the workspace. You receive an email when the upload is complete.
