Stages are the logical containers or phases of a process. For example, Vendor Selection or Document Review. Each stage organizes related tasks into a manageable milestone. A bluerint requires at least one stage and one task in order to run workflows from it.

By default, Agentforce Operations uses a linear execution model. Stage 1 must complete before Stage 2 can begin. Within a stage, tasks often run simultaneously, but the next stage doesn't start until all required tasks in the current stage finish.

          1. In the navigation sidebar, click Blueprints.
          2. Locate the blueprint and click Edit.
          3. Click + Add stage.
          4. Enter a name for the stage.
          5. Select a start condition for the stage.

For a description of each start condition, see the Stage Start Conditions table.

          6. If you select a condition-based start option, add the specific conditions that determine when the stage starts.
          7. Click Add stage.
Agentforce Operations adds the stage to the blueprint.
