Role or Access Needed
To manage fields in Agentforce Operations: Admin role or Creator role

Agentforce Operations creates a new field version each time you edit a field's configuration. Blueprint imports can also update field versions. When a blueprint import applies an update to a field, the operation overwrites the field's configuration and increments the field version.

Important
Important

Blueprint imports can update field configurations without warning, including fields included in published blueprints. After importing a blueprint, review draft versions of affected blueprints for field version changes.

Update a Field

Edit a field's settings to create a new version of that field.

  1. In the navigation sidebar, click Fields.
  2. Click the three-dot dropdown list for the field and select Edit.
    The field configuration window opens.
  3. Make the changes that you need.
    Some fields can’t be modified.
  4. Click Save.
Agentforce Operations saves the field as a new version.

View Field Version History

View all versions of a field.

  1. In the navigation sidebar, click Fields.
  2. Click the three-dot dropdown list for the field and select View versions.
    The field versions window opens.
  3. Click a version to view its details.

Use the Latest Field Version in a Draft Blueprint

Apply updated field versions to a draft blueprint by reviewing and selecting the updates.

Draft blueprints retain the field versions that were active at the time of creation. Editing a field or importing a blueprint that updates fields doesn't automatically update existing blueprints. To apply the latest field version, manually review and accept the available updates.

Note
Note Updating fields can invalidate configurations in your blueprint. Review the blueprint for potential problems before updating fields.
  1. In the navigation sidebar, click Blueprints.
  2. Open the Blueprint:
    1. For a draft blueprint, on the Draft blueprints tab, locate the blueprint and click Edit.
    2. For a published blueprint, click the three-dot dropdown list and click New version.
  3. Click the Data tab.
  4. A notification appears on the page saying New field versions available.
  5. Click Review.
  6. Scroll through the fields.

Fields requiring an update show a message: Newer version available.

  7. Click the fields that you want to update.
  8. Review the changes between the current version and the latest version.
  9. Click Update all fields.
Note
Note To update fields in a published blueprint, create a new version of the blueprint and then update fields while the blueprint is in draft mode.
