Agentforce Operations provides various types of email notifications to keep you informed about task and workflow activities. You can turn all email notifications on or off at any time. These are the available email notification types:
- Weekly digest: Each Monday, get a list of reported tasks or workflows with problems, overdue tasks, and tasks due in the coming week.
- Assigned task updates: Get an email every time there’s an update to a task that’s assigned to you.
- CC’d task updates: Get an email every time there’s an update to a task that you’re
CC’d on.
Note Agentforce Operations automatically sends a task alert when a task assigned to you becomes overdue. Task alerts are sent once when the task passes its due date and can’t be turned off.
To set your notification preferences:
- In the navigation sidebar, click your name, and then click Notifications.
-
Click to turn the different notifications on or off.

When you turn off All email notifications, a muted bell icon appears next to your name on any task assignments so others can see that your notifications are turned off.
To mute notifications for a specific task, click Mute email notifications for this task in the task assignment email. To unmute, go to your profile, click Notifications, and remove the mute from that task.
