| Start Condition | Execution Behavior |
|---|---|
| When the workflow starts | The stage activates immediately when the workflow starts. This is the default for the first stage. |
| Based on specific workflow conditions | The stage starts when the workflow starts, but only if the workflow meets specific criteria. For example, the stage starts if Region equals Asia. |
| After the previous stage completes | The stage starts automatically after the directly preceding stage finishes. |
| After specific stages | The stage waits for one or more specific stages to complete. Use this option to merge multiple branches back into one path. |
| Based on specific stage conditions | The stage starts only after specified previous stages finish and data meets specific criteria. |
| On a specific date | The stage remains locked until a designated calendar date. |
