          Turn On Starting a Workflow from an Email

          Configure the blueprint so stakeholders can start workflows by sending an email without signing in to Agentforce Operations.

          Required Editions

          License Required

          This feature is a workspace that’s external to your Salesforce org and requires an Agentforce Operations license.

          To purchase an Agentforce Operations license, contact your Salesforce account executive.

          User Permissions Needed
          To create workflows in Agentforce Operations: Admin role, Creator role, or Workflow owner access
          To manage workflows in Agentforce Operations: Admin role, Workflow owner access, or Edit access

          To support high-velocity intake, such as receiving purchase orders or freight invoices, stakeholders can start workflows by sending an email. Each blueprint gets a unique, customizable system email address. When you send an email to that address, Agentforce Operations creates a workflow instantly.

          With this feature, stakeholders can interact with the platform without signing in.

          1. In the navigation sidebar, click Blueprints.
          2. Locate the blueprint and click Edit.
          3. Click the Settings tab.
          4. For Create workflows via email, click Set up.
          5. Select Allow users to create workflows via email once this blueprint has been published.
          6. Confirm that the Workflow owner field has a value. If not, assign an owner.
          7. Customize the system email address for the blueprint.
          8. Optionally, to send a confirmation email to the person who sent the email, select Send a confirmation email after a workflow is created via email.
          9. Click Next.
          10. Configure who can create workflows via email:
            • Restrict to individuals with the Start workflows permissions.
            • Limit access to specific domains. Then, add the domains to give access to
            • Open access to anyone who has the email address.
          11. Click Save.
          12. Publish the blueprint.

          When someone sends an email to the blueprint's system email address, Agentforce Operations creates and starts a workflow from the blueprint.
