When you turn on PDF generation for a task, Agentforce Operations creates a PDF of all fields and forms on the task when the task completes. The PDF shows in the task header, saves as a field that you can use in downstream tasks, and is sent via email if the task expires.
Use this option to:
Give form fillers a copy of their submission for their records
Create auditable records of completed tasks
Pass a snapshot of the submission to automations that store data in shared drives like Box or SharePoint
The PDF includes the task name, Assigned to, Assigned by, workflow name, Completed by, Completed on, provided fields, and requested fields. Task metadata, message, and audit history aren’t included.
If there are uploaded documents, the document name appears in the PDF, but not the file itself.
In the task's Advanced section, select Save a copy of submitted data as a PDF.
After a task completes, the Download submission PDF button shows in the task header after a short delay. To download the PDF, click Download submission PDF.
