          Dynamics Scheduled Export

          Dynamics Scheduled Export

Automate the export of data from a service to a specified endpoint such as an S3 Bucket, SQL Azure Blob, or Snowflake. Dynamics Scheduled Export facilitates regular data backups or data sharing by automating the export process, which saves time and reduces manual effort.

Users are limited to two scheduled exports per service. When that limit is reached, the "New Scheduled Export..." button is disabled (grayed out).

          Create a Scheduled Export

          1. Select the service to use.
          2. Click "New Scheduled Export...".
The New Scheduled Export window opens.
          3. Enter a name for the new export.
          4. In the Export to drop-down list, select S3 Bucket, SQL, Azure Blob or Snowflake.
          5. Select an endpoint.
            A success message appears.
          6. Select the Frequency from the following options:
            • Weekly: Select the day of the week, how often per weeks, and the hour.
            • Daily: Select the hour.
              Note
Note The time zone is set according to user profile settings.
          7. Select whether to export All or Specific tables.
          8. If Specific tables was selected, filter or scroll to select the desired tables.
          9. If applicable, select whether to include attachments.
            Note
Note The option to include attachments is only visible when S3 Bucket, Azure Blob or Snowflake was selected for "Export to".
          10. Click Save.

The table contains the following information:

          • Name
          • Endpoint
          • The status of the last scheduled export:
            • Completed Successfully: The export of your backup to your endpoint was successful.
            • Failed: The export failed due to an error.
              Note
Note If your export fails, check the endpoint validity or job status for more information.
