          Delete a ServiceNow Sandbox Service

          Delete a ServiceNow Sandbox Service

Free up resources and storage space after a sandbox service is outdated or refreshed. Deleting a sandbox service permanently removes all data associated with it.

Sandbox Data and Metadata services can both be deleted.

          1. Select the sandbox service you want to delete.
          2. Select the Options tab and then select the General tab.
          3. In the General tab click the three dots and select Pause or Archive Service.

If it isn't enabled (if it’s grayed out), contact your business unit’s Admin or Master Admin (as required) to enable the self-served archiving function.

          4. Click Delete This Service and its Backups.
          5. A popup confirmation dialog appears, prompting you to confirm that you wish to remove (delete) the sandbox service.
          6. Click Remove to delete the sandbox service.
