Service Creation Errors and Warnings - RaaS for Workday

Error Message 404: Authentication Failed - Report Not Found

We were unable to validate and add the service. It could be due to an incorrect Repository Name or an invalid RaaS User provided. Please enter the appropriate Repository Name or RaaS User and try again.

Reason: If the entered Report Name or RaaS User is incorrect, report validation fails.

Solution:

1. Search for the existing Report Repository in the global search. Select the report to view the report name from the Report Definition. Copy and paste the report name into the extraction screen during service creation.
2. Search for the existing Report Repository definition in the global search. In the report definition, navigate to the “Share” tab to fetch the Report Owner Name [name or string before backward slash(/) for Worker Accounts]. Copy and paste the selected name into the extraction screen during service creation.

Error Message 404: Authentication Failed - Column(s) Missing in the Report Repository

We were unable to validate and add the service. It could be due to the column(s) missing in the report or mismatch of the column name with it’s Column Heading Override XML Alias. Please include or add the necessary columns of the report and try again.

Reason: If any required columns [“Data_Source”, ”workdayID”, ”Created_On”, ”Report_Type”, ”Report_Owner”, ”Business_Object”, ”Custom_Report”, ”Enable_As_Web_Service”] are missing in the Report Definition, or the column name is not synced with the Column Heading Override XML Alias, report authentication fails.

Solution: Search for the existing Report Repository in the global search. Click on the View Report Definition to access “Custom Report & Edit” to match the Column(s) and it’s Column Heading Override XML Alias.
