What You Need Before You Build

Builder Central builds for you, but the best results come from the context you provide. This context is optional, and you don't need it all up front. You share most of it as you describe and refine your app, not in your first prompt.

  • A process or playbook that describes how your team handles the work, so an agent follows your procedures. For example, describe how to open a case or when to hand it off to a person.
  • A style or brand reference, so the generated site or portal matches your look and tone. You can share this as a file in chat.
  • Source content to ground an agent, such as a knowledge base, a product or services overview, or a set of FAQs. You don't upload this in chat. The agent draws on grounding content from your org, so make sure that information is accurate and in place before you build.
  • When you share a file with the Build Agent in chat, use a PNG, JPEG, or PDF file. Other file types aren't supported during the beta. You can't attach a file to your first prompt, but you can share files in later turns. Uploaded files give the Build Agent context in the moment; they aren't saved as project assets.
