Data Mask & Seed helps you maintain data privacy and meet regulatory compliance requirements when your team works with sandboxes. Create reusable masking policies that define which objects and fields to mask, choose from built-in or custom replacement value libraries, and run masking jobs manually, on a schedule, or automatically when sandboxes are created or refreshed. You can filter which records to mask within each object and monitor job progress with detailed reports.
Use Data Mask & Seed in sandboxes to run masking jobs and delete sensitive data like case comments, email messages, and chatter comments. In production orgs, create and manage policies that run automatically in target sandboxes after a refresh.
