Generate and Add Values to a Custom Library with Einstein

Generate and Add Values to a Custom Library with Einstein

Use this procedure when you want to generate and add to a custom library a large number of values of a specific or unique type. For example, for your QA of sandbox masking you need to generate a custom library containing 100 cities having a population of over 5 million.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with the Salesforce Data Mask add-on license.
          User Permissions Needed
To generate and add custom library values with Einstein:
          • Data Mask And Seed User Permission Set License
          • Data Mask And Seed User Permission Set

Each use of Einstein generates a maximum of 100 values. Therefore, if you need to generate more than this maximum, you have to perform multiple generations using Einstein, as you require. With each generation, Einstein adds the new values to the custom library you are working in.

          Note
Note Remember to always select the Save Library Settings button to save newly added custom library values. Unsaved changes are lost when you navigate away from the custom library page.
          1. In the displayed custom library page, click the Create with Einstein button.
          2. In the Create with Einstein dailog, do the following:
            1. In the Number of Entries field, enter the number of values that you want Einstein to generate (maximum number is 100).
            2. In the description field, describe the type of values you want Einstein to generate.
            3. Click the Create with Einstein button to initiate the generation. When the generation completes, the UI re-displays the custom librarypage with the generated values added to the custom library content.
          3. Click the Save Library Settings button to save the updated custom library content. The custom library page re-displays in view-only mode.
          4. When the custom librarypage is in view-only mode, click the Edit Library Settings button to return the page to Edit mode.
