Remove an Environment

Remove an Environment

Remove an unused development environment from your DevOps Center pipeline. You can add a removed environment again later. You can't remove an environment that has an activity history, use replace instead.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional (API access required), Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
Not available in: Government Cloud Plus. Contact your Salesforce account executive for more details.
Not available in: EU Operating Zone. EU Operating zone is a special paid offering that provides an enhanced level of data residency commitment. DevOps Center is supported in orgs in the EU that aren’t part of EU OZ, per standard product terms and conditions.
User Permissions Needed
To remove an environment: DevOps Center Admin

Before you remove an environment, make sure that no active work items are associated with it.

Note
Note You can't remove an environment after it has an activity history associated with it. To change the org connected to a stage in that case, replace the environment instead. See Replace a Pipeline Environment.
  1. Go to the DevOps Pipelines tab, and select your pipeline.
  2. Click the down arrow icon for the development environment that you want to remove.
  3. Select Remove Environment.
  4. Confirm that you want to remove the environment.
DevOps Center removes the environment from your pipeline. You can add it again later if you need it.
