Unassign Test Suites from a Stage

Unassign Test Suites from a Stage

Unassign a test suite from a stage when it's no longer relevant or when you need to streamline testing for a faster deployment. Removing an assignment does not delete the test suite — it remains available to reassign at any time.

          Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional (API access required), Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
Not Available in: Government Cloud Plus. Contact your Salesforce account executive for more details.
Not available in: EU Operating Zone. EU Operating zone is a special paid offering that provides an enhanced level of data residency commitment. DevOps Center is supported in orgs in the EU that aren't part of EU OZ, per standard product terms and conditions.
          User Permissions Needed
To unassign test suites from a stage: DevOps Testing Manager
          Note
Note Remove suite assignments with caution. Removing a suite that enforces a quality gate can reduce your pipeline's quality coverage and may allow substandard changes to advance through the stage.
          1. From the Pipeline view, select the Tests tab.
          2. On the stage card, locate the test suite you want to remove.
          3. From the dropdown next to the test suite, click Unassign.

The test suite is removed from the stage and will no longer run during that stage's events.

          Note
Note After removing test suites in your test provider tool, click Sync Test Providers to ensure your pipeline assignments stay accurate and up to date.
