          Create Product Limit Alert

          Create Product Limit Alert

Creates alerts when product limit utilization reaches or exceeds configured threshold percentages. This action evaluates current utilization against the specified thresholds and creates Utilization Alert records when thresholds are breached.

          Set Input Values

          Field Description
          Product Limits

Required. Comma-separated list of product limit developer names to monitor. Multiple limits can be monitored in a single action call.

Utilization Thresholds (%) Required. Comma-separated list of threshold percentages (0-100) at which to create alerts. When utilization reaches or exceeds a threshold, an alert is created. You can configure multiple thresholds. Default thresholds are 80 and 100.

          Set Output Values

          Field Description
Created Alert IDs List of Utilization Alert (TenantConsumptionAlert) record IDs created. The array is empty if no new alerts were created (utilization below all thresholds or alerts already exist for crossed thresholds).
isSuccess Indicates whether the alert was created (true) or not (false).
errors Array of error objects if the action failed. Each error includes an error code and message.

          Usage

This action is designed to be used in Salesforce Flows to automatically monitor product limits and create alerts when thresholds are crossed.

          Alert behavior:

          • The trigger value in the alert contains the threshold that was crossed and not the actual utilization value.
          • When utilization crosses multiple thresholds in a single evaluation, the action creates one alert per crossed threshold.
          • Duplicate prevention: If an Active alert already exists for a given limit and threshold combination, no duplicate alert is created.
          • Auto-clearing: When utilization falls below a threshold, the corresponding Active alert is automatically marked as Cleared, allowing it to trigger again if the threshold is crossed in the future.
          • Each alert is a Utilization Alert (TenantConsumptionAlert) record with alert type PRODUCT_LIMIT and trigger type THRESHOLD_PERCENT.
