          Assign Skills with Start and End Dates to Service Resources

          Assign skills with both start and end dates to service resources to track their certifications and areas of expertise.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience.
          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions
          1. On a service resource record page, on the Skills related list, click New.
          2. From the Skills list, select a skill.
          3. Enter a skill level from 0 to 99.99 based on how your business measures skill level.
          4. Enter a start date and an end date. For example, if a service resource must be recertified in a particular skill every six months, you can enter an end date that’s six months later than the start date.
            Note
            Note If the same skill is added with different sets of start and end dates, Salesforce Scheduler takes the first instance of the skill and calculates time slots.
          5. Click Save. The service resource’s skill now appears in their Skills related list.
          Tip
          Tip To make it easier to track a service resource’s skills, upload photos of licenses and certifications in the Files related list on the service resource record page.
