To modify sharing settings: Manage Sharing

When you enable the Grant Access Using Hierarchies setting in a queue, records shared with the queue are automatically shared with the queue members’ superiors in the role hierarchy. The org-level setting Grant access using hierarchies by default in new queues controls the default value of the queue-level setting.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Sharing Settings, then select Sharing Settings.
          2. Click Edit in the Organization-Wide Defaults area.
          3. Select or deselect Grant access using hierarchies by default in new queues.
          4. Save your changes.

This setting doesn't affect existing queues, and you can still modify the individual Grant Access Using Hierarchies setting on each queue.

          Note
Note In installed packages that target API version 66.0 or earlier, included queues have the Grant Access Using Hierarchies setting disabled. If you want this setting to be enabled for all queues originating from packages, you can enable the org-level setting and then reinstall the package.
