Manage the Salesforce Seeding Object Batch Size

Manage the Salesforce Seeding Object Batch Size

When using your template to seed a very large object, or an object that triggers many automations, the insertion might fail due to a timeout with your cloud service provider. To successfully seed such an object, lower the number of object records per processing batch for the insertion of the object. The process to change an object's batch size is the same for both Nodes and Levels templates.

          1. Navigate to the template that contains the object.
          2. Click Edit.
          3. Click the three dots on the template and from the drop-down menu select Advanced Settings. The Advanced Settings window opens.
          4. Click +Add.
          5. In the Object name drop-down list, filter or scroll to select the desired object.
          6. In the Batch size (records) drop-down list, select the required batch size. You can always default back to 9800 records per batch.
          7. Click the plus sign, and select an object and batch size from the drop-down list if more objects are required.
          8. Click Save.

The selected objects don’t change when changing the template’s source.
