Shield Extension Configuration
The Shield Extension Config tab contains configuration options for the Shield Extension. Users with the appropriate permissions can modify various settings such as encryption fields and analysis scheduling.
Org Info
Displays the current organization information. The org stats displayed here are a summary of the entire org. The counts displayed on individual feature tabs may differ because of automatic filtering based on the selected feature.
Platform Encryption
Secure always supports two releases of Salesforce. This is for when sandboxes have been upgraded to the newest version, but production Orgs are still running an older version. Each release of Salesforce includes updates to Shield Platform Encryption. This ensures the Org is running the rules engine against the correct API version for accurate results. Salesforce makes beta or pilot features available for early adopters. The rules engine can also be updated to show that encryption of managed package fields is enabled.
Data Migration
This feature provides the ability to import and export the following policies between Orgs:
- Data Sensitivity Level
- Compliance Categorization
- Usage
- Risk Ratings
- Scoring Policy Configurations
The export file name must start with "PolicyMigrationExport" or the wizard does not recognize it as a valid file. Manually changing the data of the export file invalidates the file and it can no longer be used for importing.

Automated schedules and snapshots can be setup for the following:
- Platform Encryption Analysis
- History Retention Policy
