Change the Search Provider for Agentforce Account Management
Agentforce Account Management uses a default search provider for the Search the Web
action. To optimize search quality and data recency for your accounts, change the search
provider to one of your choices.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and
Developer Editions with the Agentforce for Sales or Agentforce for an
Industry add-on, or included in Agentforce 1 Sales or an Industry Edition. Requires
each user to have the Agentforce for Sales or Agentforce for an Industry add-on to
access the actions.
User Permissions Needed
To set up Agentforce Account Management:
View Setup
AND
Modify All Data
OR
Customize Application
To build a Sales Management agent:
Manage AI Agents
AND
Manage Agentforce Employee Agents
OR
Customize Application
Change which search provider your agent uses to retrieve web data for account research.
From Setup, use the Quick Find box to find and select Agentforce
Agents.
Select the Sales Agent.
Click Agentforce Builder.
If the agent is active, deactivate it.
In the Subagents section, select the Sales Research
subagent.
Click This Subagent’s Actions.
In the actions list, select the Search the Web action.
Click Edit Action.
Under Inputs, locate the Search Provider field.
Select a search provider from the dropdown menu.
Save your changes.
Reactivate the agent.
Your agent uses the selected search provider for all web research requests, including
interactions in Slack.
