          Track Your Competitors

          Track competitors in a pending sale by listing the competitors’ names in the opportunity. You can enter the names of new competitors, or choose from a list of competitors defined by your administrator. To access this information, go to the Competitors related list of the opportunity.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Salesforce Classic

          Available in: all editions in orgs activated before Summer ’09

          Available in: Group, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions in orgs activated after Summer ’09

          To add, edit, or delete competitors on an opportunity, you must have Edit access on the opportunity.

            Create a picklist of competitors that your users can attach to opportunities.
          • Competitor Fields
            The fields for competitors help you track your competition as you work to close deals.
