Configure Einstein Activity Capture for Partner Portal Users

Configure Einstein Activity Capture so partner portal users can connect their external calendars for appointment scheduling.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available with Unlimited Edition, Einstein 1 Sales Edition, and Agentforce 1 Edition with PartnerEAC add-on license
Available with Einstein for Sales, which is included in Einstein 1 Sales Edition and available for an extra cost in Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with PartnerEAC add-on license
User Permissions Needed
To create or edit an Einstein Activity Capture configuration: View Setup and Configurations, Customize Application AND Modify All Data
To view the Einstein Activity Capture setup pages:

View Setup and Configurations AND Manage Lightning Sync

AND

Customize Application OR Modify All Data
  1. From Setup, enter Einstein Activity Capture in the Quick Find box, and then select Settings.
    If you're setting up Einstein Activity Capture for the first time, select Microsoft Office 365 or Google G Suite as the email service provider and then select user-level authentication as part of the configuration.
  2. From the Configuration tab, click New Configuration.
  3. Give the configuration a name and description.
  4. Select External Partner Users as the User Type.
  5. Add users and profiles to the configuration, and then click Next.
    To add users to a configuration, make sure that you first assign users to Einstein Activity Capture.
  6. Click Save.
