How Skills Work in Salesforce in Claude (Beta)

Learn how skills automatically match your requests to the right action in Salesforce in Claude.

Skills are pre-built prompts that specify exactly what data to pull and what action to take. Claude automatically matches requests to the right skill, so you don't need to know a skill's name or invoke it directly. For example, asking "Prep me for my Acme call tomorrow" triggers See Account Context. You can also invoke a specific skill directly by using "/" followed by the skill ID.

Note This beta is read only: skills can retrieve data and draft messages, emails, or plans for your review, but nothing is created, updated, or deleted in Salesforce without you taking that action yourself.
