          Add and Manage Contacts from Pipeline Inspection

          Add contact roles, create new tasks, schedule events, and send emails directly from Pipeline Inspection. This helps you keep opportunity stakeholders accurate and up to date.

          Required Editions

          To add or edit contact roles: Pipeline Inspection User permissions

          Keeping your deal stakeholders up to date helps you and your manager see exactly who's involved in a deal and who still needs to be reached. You can manage these relationships without leaving your pipeline view.

          1. On the Opportunities tab, click Pipeline Inspection.
          2. Click the number in the Contacts column for the opportunity you want to update.

            The side panel opens to the Contacts tab.

            If you don't see the Contacts column, click the gear icon, select Select Fields to Display and add Contacts.

          3. If an active person is listed but doesn't have a role, click Add Contact Role and set the appropriate role.
          4. To change a stakeholder's current role, click Edit Role.
          5. To send an email, click the email icon next to a contact or the Send Email button at the bottom of the panel.
          6. To create a new task or schedule an event, click the dropdown menu next to a contact.

          Note To see more details about a contact, click their name in the side panel to open their full record in a new tab.
