Turn On Agentforce Prospecting
Agentforce Prospecting automates prospect research and generates a prioritized list of prospects so sales reps can focus on growing relationships and closing deals.

Turn On Agentforce
Enable Agentforce in your org before you turn on Agentforce Prospecting.
- Turn on Agentforce.
- Turn on Salesforce Foundations.
Turn On Agentforce Prospecting
Enable the Prospecting feature in Agentforce for Sales.
- From Salesforce Go, go to the Agentforce for Sales page.
- Click Keep Going.
- Scroll down and expand the Prospecting section.
- Turn on Prospecting.
Assign Permissions
Assign users the permission sets they need to manage agents and agent-generated prospects.
- From Salesforce Go, go to Agentforce for Sales.
- In the Prospecting section, click Manage in the Manage User Access step.
- Select users to assign the Sales Agentic Prospecting Manager permission set group, and then click Assign. These users get access to create and configure prospecting agents.
- Select the users to assign the Sales Agentic Prospecting permission set, and then click Assign. These users get access to view and act on agent-generated prospects.
- Click Done.
Connect Your Gong Data (Optional)
Give your Prospecting Agent access to Gong data like conversation insights from recorded calls.
- From Salesforce Go, go to the Agentforce for Sales page, and then go to the Prospecting section.
- In the Give Your Agent Access to Gong Data step, click Go to Setup.
- Follow the instructions in Gong Integration with Einstein Conversation Insights.
- Verify that call recordings and transcripts are available in Salesforce before you run Prospecting Agent.
Turn On Einstein Conversation Insights (Optional)
Enable Einstein Conversation Insights so Prospecting Agent can review past phone calls.
- From Salesforce Go, go to the Agentforce for Sales page, and then go to the Prospecting section.
- In the Turn On Einstein Conversation Insights step, click Go to Setup.
- Follow the instructions in Set Up Einstein Conversation Insights.
Turn On Einstein Activity Capture (Optional)
Enable Einstein Activity Capture so Prospecting Agent can review past emails and meetings.
- From Salesforce Go, go to the Agentforce for Sales page, and then go to the Prospecting section.
- In the Turn On Einstein Activity Capture step, click Go to Setup.
- Follow the instructions in Set Up Einstein Activity Capture for Your Team.
- Confirm that calendar events and emails are syncing to Salesforce for users who work with Prospecting Agent.
Add Prospecting to Apps (Optional)
Add the Prospecting navigation item to your app of choice. We recommend adding it to your Sales app.

In Setup, enter
App Managerin the Quick Find search bar. - Click App Manager, then find the app to add Prospecting to.
- Click the drop down for the app you select, then click Edit.
- Go to Navigation Items and move Prospecting from Available Items to Selected Items.
- Click Save, then verify you see Prospecting in the app you added it to.
Add the Generate Prospects Action to Accounts
Add the Generate Prospects action to Account layouts so users can run account-level prospect generation.
- From Setup, search for and select Object Manager.
- Click Account.
- Click Page Layout, then Account Layout.
- Click Buttons, then drag Generate Prospects into the Account Detail section.
- Click Save.
- If your org uses Lightning Record Pages, open the Account Lightning Record Page, add Generate Prospects from Account to Visible Actions, and save the page.
