Increase or Decrease Forecasts for Upcoming Periods

Increase or decrease forecasts by a percentage based on the forecast value you want to adjust for the selected upcoming periods, starting from the next period.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited with Sales, and in Agentforce 1 Sales Edition

For example, configure adjustments to automatically increase forecasts by 5% on the forecast value over the next 6 months.

          Note
          Note

The automatic adjustment of forecasts starts from the next period. For example, if you configure the adjustment in March to apply over the next 3 months, it begins in April and continues through June.

          1. On the forecasts page, hover over the forecast value you want to adjust, and then click Pencil.
          2. In Adjustment Type, select Increase or Decrease.
          3. Select the number of periods for which you want to adjust the forecast value.
          4. Enter the percentage by which you want to increase or decrease and add notes about why you made the adjustment.
          5. Save your changes.
