Automate Cleanup for Custom Recommendations

To automatically remove expired or declined recommendations from the feed, activate a Clean Custom Recommendation flow.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Agentforce 1 Sales editions with the Sales Foundation add-on.

To create and modify flows: Manage Flow

Configure an expiration date formula in your custom recommendation flows.

Keep your feed relevant by clearing out expired and declined recommendations. This flow uses the expiration date defined in your creation flows. Use a separate cloned cleanup flow for each custom signal type.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter and select Flows.
  2. Find and select Clean Custom Recommendations and then click Save As New Flow.
  3. To configure the custom signal of which you want to remove the expired recommendations, click Get Custom Definition.
  4. For the Name field, replace the value with the developer name of the custom signal.
  5. Click Save and Activate.
