Set Up Custom Recommendations with Standard Actions

To add a custom signal that uses a standard action to the feed, clone the Create Custom Recommendations flow.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Agentforce 1 Sales editions with the Sales Foundation add-on.
User Permissions Needed
To create and modify flows: Manage Flow

Save a custom signal type in Workspace Signals and copy its developer name.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter and select Flows.
  2. Find and select Create Custom Recommendations and then click Save As New Flow.
  3. To configure the custom signal you want to generate feed for, click Get Custom Definition.
  4. For the Name field, replace the value with the developer name of the custom signal.
  5. To show a standard action for the custom signal, click Create Recommendation.
  6. For the Standard Action field, replace the default action with the action you want to trigger.
  7. For the Action Label field, replace the default value with a label you want to show for the standard action in the feed.
  8. Click Save and Activate.
