Help your sales reps work more efficiently by surfacing signals specific to your
operating model. Write custom recommendations using a Flow or Apex job so that sellers get
guidance that matches the way your teams sell.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and
Agentforce 1 Sales editions with the Sales Foundation add-on.
Before you begin, ensure you have already created a Flow or Apex job that generates feed
items. If you are new to this process, you can leverage the default flows, Create Custom
Recommendations and Create Custom Recommendations With Action, to orient yourself on how a
custom insight is created.
Sales Workspace comes with a set of standard signals, but your sales process can call for
guidance that those signals don’t cover. Add your own signals to bring recommendations from
an employee agent that your team already built, or from business logic that reflects how your
reps work, into the same prioritized signals feed.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Workspace Signals and
select it.
Click Create Signal Types and follow the onscreen setup flow to
define and save the signal.
To complete the setup flow, click Done.
The new signal appears in the Custom Workspace Signals section.
