Report on Signals Performance

See which signals your sellers act on and which ones they dismiss, so that you can improve the guidance that Sales Workspace gives them.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Agentforce 1 Sales editions with the Sales Foundation add-on.

Users who run your reports need access to the PrioritizedRecommendation and PrioritizedRecommendationItem objects.

Note The same objects are available through the REST API, so you can query signal data directly or feed it into another system instead of reporting on it in Salesforce.

A signal that sellers keep dismissing is telling you something. Reporting on signals activity shows you which types earn action and which ones add noise, including the custom signals that you built.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Report Types and select it.
  2. Click New Custom Report Type.
  3. For the primary object, select Prioritized Recommendations.
  4. Name the report type, choose a category to store it in, and set its deployment status.
  5. Relate Prioritized Recommendation Items to the primary object.

    Choose whether to include only records that have related items, or all records regardless of whether related items exist.

  6. Add the fields that you want available in reports, and save.
