Create a custom action that opens a web page, loads a Lightning web component, or triggers a flow directly from a map marker.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic
Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
User Permissions Needed
To configure Maps features:
Customize Application
From Setup, open Installed Packages, find Salesforce Maps, and then click Configure | Settings | Custom Actions.
Click Create, and then name the button.
Select where the button appears.
Specify the requirements for the button to appear.
Configure the process and automation: open a URL, load a Lightning web component, or trigger a flow.
Save, and then add the button to a button set.
Note In some configurations, a flow triggered by a Maps custom action can run twice, creating duplicate records. For workarounds, see Salesforce Maps Troubleshooting.
