Archive a User Account in Salesforce Spiff

Archived user accounts aren’t accessible through the Users table, global search, or statements on the main commission page.

Required Editions

Available in: both Salesforce Classic (not available in all orgs) and Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
Available for an additional cost in: Professional Edition with Web Services API Enabled
User Permissions Needed
To archive a user:

A Spiff user role with this permission turned on.

Users: Edit

  1. From the Admin menu, select Users.
  2. Select the user whose account you want to archive in the Users table.
    The user profile page is displayed.
  3. Turn on Edit.
  4. Turn off Make this user visible.
    A popup will appear for you to confirm archiving the user account.
  5. Click Archive User to confirm.
    The Keep this user's data synced option is turned off automatically.
  6. Click Save.

Data Syncing is turned off when a user account is archived.
