Add or Remove Fields in the Scheduling Flow

Add or Remove Fields in the Scheduling Flow

Clone the standard scheduling flow and modify its screens in Flow Builder to add fields your organization needs or remove fields that aren't relevant.

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions

In this scenario, a user wants to link a case to an interaction so that each scheduled meeting references the related case. The admin adds a Case field to the interaction details step in the scheduling flow. After scheduling, the case reference is visible on the interaction record, giving users a direct link between the meeting and its associated case.

          • Add a Field to the Source Object
Before adding a field to the scheduling flow, confirm that the field exists on the source object. If it doesn't, create it first.
          • Clone the Scheduling Flow
Standard Workforce Scheduling flows are managed and can't be edited directly. Clone the flow to create an editable version.
          • Add a Field to a Flow Screen
Add a field to a screen in a cloned scheduling flow so users can provide additional information when they schedule appointments.
          • Remove a Field from a Flow Screen
Remove a field from a screen in a cloned scheduling flow when your organization doesn't need the information.
          • Activate and Assign the Cloned Flow
Activate the cloned scheduling flow and assign it to the quick action or button so that users see the updated screens when they schedule appointments.
