          Create Operating Hours and Time Slots in Salesforce Go

          Operating hours define when appointments can be scheduled. Use the guided setup in Salesforce Go to create operating hours records with time slots for specific days and times.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions
          User Permissions Needed
          To create operating hours and time slots: Workforce Scheduling Manager
          1. From Setup, click Salesforce Go.
          2. Search for Scheduling.
          3. In the search results, under Initial Setup, click View Details next to Unified Scheduling Initial Setup.
          4. Under Set Up Scheduling, find Create Operating Hours and Time Slots, and then click Manage.
          5. In the Create Operating Hours dialog, enter the required information.
            1. Name: A unique name for the operating hours record.
            2. Description: A brief description of when these hours apply.
            3. Time Zone: The time zone for the operating hours.
          6. In the Time Slots section, define when appointments can be scheduled.

            The table lists Day, Start Time, End Time, and Work Type for each slot. Click Add Slot to add rows for additional days or time ranges.

          7. Click Save to create the operating hours record.
