          Note
Note Although the Appointment Management from Agentforce Panel subagent is available in the new Agentforce Studio and can be added to the Agentforce Employee Agent template, we still recommend building new agents in the legacy Agentforce Builder as described in this section.
          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Agent, and select Agentforce Agents.
          2. Click New Agent.
          3. Select the Agentforce Employee Agent template and click Next.
          4. Review the agent's subagents and actions that come with your template. You can customize these subagents and actions later, but if any of them don’t apply to your use cases, remove them, and then click Next.
          5. Define your agent's settings, such as system messages and language settings. These settings determine how agents behave and present themselves in conversations.
          6. Optionally, select a data source to ground your agent's responses with the Answer Questions with Knowledge action, and then click Create.
If you don't want to use any of the available data sources, you can create a library to limit Agentforce Employee agent to specific articles or uploaded fields. See Assign a Data Library to Your Agent.
          7. Add the Appointment Management from Agentforce Panel subagent to the agent.
            1. Open the agent in Agentforce Builder.
            2. From the sidebar, select Subagents.
            3. On the Subagents panel, click New, and then select Add from Asset Library.
            4. Select the Appointment Management from Agentforce Panel subagent, and then click Finish.
          8. Test your agent in Agentforce Builder to confirm that your agent performs as expected and meets your security standards. See Sample Utterances for examples of phrases you can use.
          9. Give your users access to your agent. See Manage Employee Agent Access.
          10. Optionally, connect your agent to Slack. See Set up and manage Agentforce in Slack.
          11. When you're ready, activate your agent.
