          Set Up Field Service Mobile Insights (Beta)

          Turn your operational data from the Field Service mobile app into actionable intelligence.

          In Setup, click Salesforce Go at the top of the Setup menu. Then, search for Field Service. Click the Field Service Mobile Insights for Home Org tile.

          Assign User Permissions

          To ensure the right team members have access, under Manage Users, click Manage.

          • Select a Permission Set: Choose between Tableau Next Limited Consumer (for read-only access to freemium apps) or Data Cloud User.
          • Filter and Find: Use the Users filter to view "All" users or those already "Assigned."
          • Grant Access: Select the checkbox next to the user’s name and click Assign. Keep an eye on your license count. The dashboard shows exactly how many seats you have available versus assigned.

          Install and Enable Field Service Mobile Insights

          Under Install and Enable Field Service Mobile Insights, click Manage.

          • Connect your data source:
            • Salesforce Connection: Select your primary connection.
            • Data Space: Choose the relevant data space (the "default" space is typically pre-selected for you).
            • Timeline: Under the Work Days section, select the days your mobile team is active. This ensures your "Daily Active User" metrics are accurate and don't get skewed by weekends or off-days.
          • Enter details about the install:
            • App Name: Provide a unique name for this installation instance.
            • Description: Add details such as the installation date, version, or intended business unit.
            • Log Level: Adjust the level of details to include more information.

          If you prefer the traditional route, you can also manage user access with the standard Permission Sets or Permission Set Groups pages in Salesforce Setup by clicking the Go to Setup shortcut on the assignment screen.
