Update Screen Labels in a Cloned Flow

Update Screen Labels in a Cloned Flow

Standard Workforce Scheduling flows are managed and can't be edited directly. To customize screen labels, stage names, or component display text, clone the flow first.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions
          User Permissions Needed
To update screen labels in a cloned flow: Workforce Scheduling Manager
          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select Flows.
          2. Open the scheduling flow you want to customize (for example, Schedule Appointment).
          3. Click Save As New Flow to create an editable copy.
          4. Enter a label and description for the cloned flow, and then click Save.
          5. Open a screen element that you want to rename (for example, Add Appointment Details), and then update Label to the new name.
          6. To rename a stage in the progress bar, select the screen element, expand Stage, and update the stage name.
          7. Repeat steps 5-6 for each screen and stage you want to rename.
          8. Click Save, and then click Activate.
          9. Replace the original flow reference in the quick action or button with the cloned flow so that users see the updated labels when they schedule appointments.

Clone a flow before making changes to ensure you don't make unintended modifications to an already functional flow. For additional flow customization options, see Customize the Appointment Booking Experience.
