          Migrate to HR Service

          Set up licenses, permissions, and migration tooling to migrate Work.com employee data to HR Service.

          1. Enable required licenses and permission sets:
            1. Enable Data Cloud addon license: GenieDataPlatformStarter.
            2. Add these licenses: SvcCloudEmpHubEmpUsrAddOn, UnifiedEmployeeAddOn, SvcCloudEmpHubHrStdAddOn.
            3. Assign the Employee Hub Unified Employee User permission set to all your work.com Employee users.
            4. Add the EmployeeManagement permission set license to the Admin user.
            5. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then select Permission Sets.
            6. Select the Data Cloud Salesforce Connector permission set.
          2. Set Field Level Security for the Employee Object:
            1. From Setup, go to the Object Manager tab.
            2. From the list of objects, select Employee.
            3. From the left pane, select Fields & Relationships.
            4. Select the EmployeeNumber field.
            5. Click Set Field Level Security.
            6. Select Visible for Analytics Cloud Integration User, then click Save.
            7. Repeat steps d through f for these fields: EmployeeStatus, StatusAsOf, WorkerType.
          3. Set up the data processing engine:
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Data Processing Engine and then select Data Processing Engine.
            2. Select Migrate Work.com Employees to HR Service. You can edit this template to add and remove fields in the Person Account or Employee2 records.
            3. From the Save dropdown, select Save As.
            4. Enter the template name and description, then save your changes.
            5. Activate the data processing engine (DPE). You can edit this DPE to add or remove fields. Read more about how DPE works at Data Processing Engine.
          4. Install the flow from the template:
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows and then under Process Automation, select Flows.
            2. On the Flows page, click New Flow.
            3. In the New Automation window, Under Frequently Used, click View All Automations.
            4. Search for and select the Migrate Work.com Employees to HR Service template.
            5. Enter the flow label, API name, and the DPE API name created in step 3.d, then click Next.
            6. Provide an app name, then click Create.
          5. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows and then under Process Automation, select Flows.
          6. From the list of flows, open the flow you created at step 9.c.
          7. Run the flow. This action starts the migration process. The DPE creates a data stream named Employee_Home.
          8. From Data Streams, select Employee_Home.
          9. Click Refresh Now, select Full Refresh, and then click Refresh Now.
          10. Monitor and troubleshoot migration:
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Monitor Workflow Services and then under Workflow Services, select Monitor Workflow Services.
            2. Select the DPE running instance. The Tasks tab shows the jobs and the Failed Writeback Records tab shows any failures.
