          Before You Begin

Before starting migration, make sure your organization meets the prerequisites required to maintain data integrity and prevent system errors.

          • Verify License Availability: Make sure your organization has sufficient Unified Employee Licenses for all CCP users you plan to migrate.
          • Set Sharing Models to Private: Set the default external sharing model for Accounts, Contacts, Case, and Incident to Private.
          • Pause Data Syncs: Pause all active employee data sync operations across systems, such as Workday, Okta, or Azure, to prevent conflicts during the migration.
          • Create Target Profiles: Create a custom target UEL profile to assign to users during the migration. This profile replaces the existing corresponding CCP profile.
          • Test in Sandbox: We recommend testing the migration in a sandbox environment before deploying it to production.
          • Prepare Permission Sets: Create the required permission sets or permission set groups for easy reassignment post-migration.
