Create and Configure Specialized Agents from Templates
Create and configure specialized agents from agent templates to support your Agentforce
Employee Agent for specific IT services. The agent configuration includes selecting templates,
assigning agent names, and providing a company description. Then refine subagents and actions, and
activate agents to go live for your employees.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited
Editions with Agentforce IT Service.
User Permissions Needed
To enable Agentforce:
Manage AI Agents AND the required permissions for your agent type
OR
Customize Application
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Salesforce Go, and then
select Salesforce Go.
In the Salesforce Go search bar, enter Agentforce for IT Service and
select it.
Turn on specialized agent templates for employee.
In the confirmation window, click Confirm.
Click Build Agents to build specialized agents from templates.
Select one or more available agent templates to deploy specialized agents.
Click Next.
Review the selected agents. If a naming conflict occurs, update the agent name to a unique
value.
Click Create.
Click Configure and Activate Agents to configure and activate
specialized agents.
Select the agents to deploy them.
Click Activate Agents.
