          Bulk-Add Assets to a Disposal Order

          Select multiple retired or end-of-life devices to add them to a disposal order. This action creates disposal order line items and updates asset statuses, reducing manual administrative effort.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Agentforce IT Service.
          User Permissions Needed
          To run bulk disposal Batch Management User permission, Standard Asset Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) permissions, Flow invocation permissions

          Before you initialize a bulk disposal, verify that:

          • Target assets are in Retired or In Stock status.
          • Assets aren't active line items in another disposal order.
          • A destination disposal order exists in the system.
          1. From the App Launcher, find and select IT Hardware Asset Management.
          2. From List Views, select All Assets.
          3. Filter and select records to dispose of.
            Note
            Note To process up to 200 records, select records from the list view. If a transaction involves more than 200 assets, select Run Bulk Action to upload a CSV file containing up to 10,000 asset IDs.
          4. Select Dispose Assets.
          5. Review the data table to confirm that selected assets are eligible.
          6. Select Submit.
            Note
            Note After submission, the system validates each asset and links it to the specified disposal order. The framework changes successfully processed items to Pending Disposal status.
