Dispatch and Receive Hardware

Track hardware dispatch and finalize delivery by updating fulfillment order statuses.

Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Agentforce IT Service.

User Permissions Needed
To manage fulfillment orders:	Hardware Asset Management - IT Fulfiller

From the App Launcher, find and select IT Hardware Asset Management.
Select Fulfillment Orders.
Select the pending fulfillment order for your location.
Update the fulfillment order status based on the delivery method.
- For in-person pickup:
  1. Select Item Ready for Pickup.
  2. Select Email for the communication channel.
  3. Select Next.
  4. Enter recipient details and select Send.
- For shipment:
  1. Select Update Shipment.
  2. Enter tracking details.
  3. Select Save.
When you dispatch the item, select Mark Fulfillment Sent.
The associated asset status automatically updates to In Transit.
After the employee receives the hardware, select Mark Fulfillment Received.

When you finalize the order, stockroom quantities decrement and the asset status updates to In Use.
